Party Membership
The Libertarian Party enjoys a broad base of support from people of all walks of life. To ensure that this continues to be the case, our individual membership fee is set at a very reasonable £10 per year.
All Libertarian Party members enjoy equal voting rights at our Annual General Meetings, and equal access to policy debate and the Party leadership. Unlike some other parties, we don't grant special privileges to any individual based upon the size of their financial contributions to our Party.
Party membership is open to all those:
- who accept the Constitution of our Party
- who are not members of any organisation whose objectives are incompatible with those of the Party
- who are over sixteen years of age
- who maintain their subscriptions
- whose membership is approved by the Party's National Co-ordinating Committee
We cannot accept individuals as members to our Party if they are currently members of any other UK registered political party.

You can join our Party by completing a simple online process, which uses a secure PayPal transaction to collect your membership fee. At no stage will your financial data (credit card details etc.) be collected or stored by ourselves.

Postal Applications
We also accept membership applications by cheque. Please download, print and complete this form to enclose with your cheque. Full details are included on the form. Note that whilst online applications are typically processed within 24 hours, it can take 7-10 days for us to process a postal application.
